Is the nanny state good or bad? If you support the nanny state, what are benefits? If you fear & don't support the nanny state, what are the detriments of such a state? Is America "progressing" towards the nanny state?
Funny and very appropriate picture. You like taking care of babies?
Because that's what you will be creating with a Nanny state.
You like the tyranny of babies that never grow up?
Because they won't.
Why would they?
Already we have kids who do not want to grow up. Do not want the responsibility of driving cars or owning cars, homes or children.
What has caused such hesitancy?
The growing dependance on the government, an ever more complicated modern life or living on a level which is virtual, rather than concrete?
Probably all three.
