See the diatribe from this guy for yourself.....

This guy, JD Vance, is supposed to running for the Senate. Am I supposed to take him seriously that childless adults should not vote or we redux the 3/5 th compromise of the 18th century and apply it to the 21st? You get to count your kids and therefore have more votes than single people. How can any of this be supported by anyone without openly ripping the Constitution to shreds
Is this the sort of rubbish being peddled on Fox these days? I am glad that I don't watch it. You cannot conduct any serious debate over the ludicrous.
I will say again what I always say, Republicans are no damned good with nothing at all to redeem them.
he did not say, "childless adults should not vote or we redux the 3/5 th compromise of the 18th century and apply it to the 21st?"
he was saying that people with children have more at stake for the future. ... that's all.
"Vance said that parents who go to the polls should have more power than adults who do not have children.
“When you go to the polls in this country as a parent, you should have more power, you should have more of an ability to speak your voice in our Democratic republic, than people who don't have kids," he said. "Let's face the consequences and the reality; if you don't have as much of an investment in the future of this country, maybe you shouldn't get nearly the same voice."
---------
I dunno, it seems that he was saying more then just making general statements about people with children verses people without children.
What does it mean to say that parents should have "more power" at the polls than adults that do not have children? That is what he said. Vance is talking about minimizing some voices relative to others. How do you interpret that? How else can you affect such a thing at the ballot box without some form of vote nullification of these childless adults as a remedy. There is no mistake in what he is implying and alluding to...
The comparison with the 3/5th compromise and the 18th century was my creation and totally appropriate in regard to the ideas that Vance puts forward.

adult children to grow. They are the type of parents who subconsciously sabotage their children's career chances and advancements. They seem to be deathly afraid to allow their children to establish their own independent lives. They want their adult children to be NEAR...
