I'm not entirely sure what you're seeking regarding opinions, but after thoroughly exploring the Common Dreams website, I discovered it to be a left-leaning platform that covers many contemporary left-wing issues. It seems to rival mainstream outlets like MSN in its coverage. I believe this site would be highly valued by liberal individuals. It serves as a platform that advocates for left-leaning ideologies.

I don't believe most of the content I encountered would resonate with conservatives as a whole. Nonetheless, I do recognize the importance of such websites, serving as a convenient hub for like-minded individuals. Just as The Epoch Times fulfills a similar role for conservatives.

I believe it's important for everyone to have access to websites where they feel at ease with the articles they present.

Yup, I posted a conservative website, I think, a day prior, which gained a comment or two. The purpose with both was to offer an alternative to MSM news sources and/or what 'some' members of the greater society composed of two dominate political forces are reading to stay informed.

The conservative website is by Thomas D. Klingenstein. The landing page at the link next is:

Explaining the Existential Threat of the Woke Regime

[I found it intriguing prompting questions within my own 'self'.]

We are living amidst a cold civil war. This is a war not over the size of government or taxes, but over the American way of life. This war is between those who are convinced that America is inherently good and worth defending and those who are convinced that America is evil.

        https://tomklingenstein.com/the-war/

I have read this and that at both sites to offer balance, perspective, and give cause with the ongoing journey of 'Thinking about how to vote in 2024? I am!' the title of an OP posted some time back. So, sharing discoveries along that journey.

    Media Bias/Fact Check:

"These media sources are moderate to strongly biased toward liberal causes through story selection and/or political affiliation.  They may utilize strong loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes), publish misleading reports, and omit information that may damage liberal causes. Some sources in this category may be untrustworthy. See all Left Bias sources.

Overall, we rate Common Dreams Left Biased based on story selection and op-eds that favor the left. We also rate them High for factual reporting due to proper sourcing and a clean fact-check record."

"In review, Common Dreams primarily covers political news with a left-leaning bias in story selection and wording, such as ‘Stop With This Recklessness’: Allies Warn Right-Wing Attacks Could Get Congresswoman Ilhan Omar Killed. This story is appropriately sourced to mostly left-leaning media such as Splinter, NBC News, and Vox. In general, news reporting favors the left through story selection and the use of emotional wording. Editorially, Common Dreams features left-leaning writers such as Glenn Greenwald, Ralph Nader, Noam Chomsky, Naomi Klein, and Paul Krugman. Needless to say, op-eds strongly favor the left. Many op-eds are opposed to militarism and promote the need for action on climate change."

I'm always looking for new sources for news, so thanks for this one I haven't known. I'm biased against blogs because they have no editors to hold their feet to the fire. That is not the case with Common Dreams. I am impressed with any media that is not depended on advertising though being dependent on donations can be a slippery slope of its own.. A review of their staff does not reveal much experience, but sometimes that is a good thing.
