      What's not to love?
      A forward-looking pro-America, pro-security, pro-energy independence, pro-children, pro-woman, pro-citizen agenda vs. the progressive, destructive antics of Dems!
This is a no-brainer - accolades and applause!

This list is rather an eye-opener in the difference between the two philosophies.  Of the 20 items, Democrats either ignore or take the opposite position on # 1,2, 4,5,6,7,8,9,10,12,13,15,16,17,18 and 19.  Of the remaining four they pay lip service, but without any real effort to accomplish anything.

To be completely fair, Republicans also pay live service, without effort, on a few of these.

          Agreed, no doubt about it.

Perhaps along with providing an extended definition of MAGA, some effort will be provided as well!?!

I don't see Republicans, any time in the near future, giving back the right to determine our own health care (abortion).  Nor do I see them defending the right to freedom from religion.  Both are constitutional issues (#7), neither is on Republican radar.

Unfortunately abortion still exists, I know that and you know that.
What has changed is that now state by state by state, we the people will decide how many weeks are needed to end a pregnancy, and a life?! 3-6-9-18-39?

"Nor do I see them defending the right to freedom from religion"

No one has ever asked me, told me, made me, join the Church of America or, the Church of England, for that matter. I am free to worship as I choose.

Did the people of Idaho decide that pregnant neighbors, who are in the midst of a miscarriage must sit in the parking lot of a hospital  until near death only to be told by doctors there is nothing they can do for them? Have these citizens voted on airlifting these people to neighboring states to obtain care? No they haven't done but why should they determine this care?

Abortion: what you say is true, but has zero to do with Republicans refusing to allow us the right to determine it for ourselves.  They, and their religious precepts, will make the decision for us.

Much the same, indoctrinating your children in Christian religious concepts (excluding all other religions, religions equally valid) IS "forcing" religion on those kids.  Republicans, saying "No one forced me to join their branch of Christianity" are quite happy forcing others to worship the Christian way.

Don't fret, we are far from being a Christian Nation any longer; when the majority of a Nation's biggest concern...is the ability to continue killing the pre-born, I'd say that Godless secularism has won out. Congratulations!

Curious on the topic of being a Christian nation I discovered a 2022 study by Pew Research.

45% of Americans Say U.S. Should Be a ‘Christian Nation’ by Pew Research (Oct 27, 2022)
But they hold differing opinions about what that phrase means, and two-thirds of U.S. adults say churches should keep out of politics.

"I don't see Republicans, any time in the near future, giving back the right to determine our own health care (abortion)."

It is now an issue determined by voters.

"Nor do I see them defending the right to freedom from religion."

If you don't believe in freedom of religion, you're in the wrong country.

              Does this bother you?

"Mich. town upholds Muslim call to prayer

Residents of the once-predominantly Polish city of Hamtramck, Michigan on Tuesday upheld an amendment to the city's noise ordinance, a victory for those in favor of allowing mosques to issue the call to prayer over loudspeakers.

Residents of this once-predominantly Polish city on Tuesday upheld an amendment to the city's noise ordinance, a victory for those in favor of allowing mosques to issue the call to prayer over loudspeakers.

The vote, which supporters of the prayer calls acknowledged was merely symbolic, was 1,462 to 1,200, or 55 percent to 45 percent.

The City Council unanimously passed the amendment to the noise ordinance in April after a mosued five times a day.

The ordinance regulates the volume and timing of the amplified call. Without the law, city officials said there would be nothing to prohibit the broadcasting of the call to prayer itself.

The council's action provoked an outcry among some longtime residents of Hamtramck, a city of 23,000 people that is surrounded by Detroit. In recent years, the city has seen a rapid influx of immigrants from Bangladesh, Yemen and other countries.

The al-Islah mosque began the call to prayer in May. At least one other Hamtramck mosque has also begun the broadcasts via loudspeakers since then.

"Either way, the call is going to continue to happen," City Council president Karen Majewski said before Tuesday's vote.

The vote was nonetheless widely viewed as a choice between allowing the call to prayer or prohibiting it by repealing the amendment.

Robert Zwolak, one of the organizers of the petition drive that put the question the ballot, said he has no plans to fight the call to prayer in court. "The only other recourse we have is to change the political faces we have in City Hall right now," he said.

              https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna5471447

Don't know if you've ever been in a Muslim country, but their call to prayer is loud and carries very far.

I don't see that in the 1st Amendment

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

"It <abortion> is now an issue determined by voters."

I suppose so, as long as one agrees with the local majority.  But how about each and every "voter" decide for themselves?  Why does the religious right, the local majority, make the determination for everyone?

And imposing the call to prayer on everyone is reasonable?  I think not, any more than the driver in the next lane at the stop light having his "boomer" speakers turned up to the point is physically hurtful to me in the next closed car.  We all have the right to peaceful enjoyment of our home; something impossible when someone is screaming into a powered system to come a worship as a specific god demands.  Freedom of includes freedom from, believe it or not (is atheism a religion?).

According to the American Atheists atheism is not a belief system nor a religion, yet enjoys the protections of the constitution.

"Despite the fact that atheism is not a religion, atheism is protected by many of the same Constitutional rights that protect religion. That, however, does not mean that atheism is itself a religion, only that our sincerely held (lack of) beliefs are protected in the same way as the religious beliefs of others. Similarly, many “interfaith” groups will include atheists. This, again, does not mean that atheism is a religious belief."

What is Atheism? by the American Atheists
                  https://www.atheists.org/activism/resou … t-atheism/

                  However, somewhat as cautionary they conclude with;

                  "All atheists are different

The only common thread that ties all atheists together is a lack of belief in gods. Some of the best debates we have ever had have been with fellow atheists. This is because atheists do not have a common belief system, sacred scripture or atheist Pope. This means atheists often disagree on many issues and ideas. Atheists come in a variety of shapes, colors, beliefs, convictions, and backgrounds. We are as unique as our fingerprints.

Atheists exist across the political spectrum. We are members of every race. We are members of the LGBTQ* community. There are atheists in urban, suburban, and rural communities and in every state of the nation."

[Edit] As personal opinion as with atheist Christians are unique individuals. Not all Christians are alike as much as some people make them out to be. I for one can be classified a Christian, yet arguably may be more agnostic.

"the local majority, make the determination for everyone?"

That is how it works in a representative republic.

The majority of people in that Michigan town agreed with the call to prayer.  I don't see where there is anything anyone can be do to change it other than move to an area where this doesn't take place.

I lived in California at one time.  Too many things happening there I did not agree with, so I left. I didn't expect the majority of the people in the state to change to accommodate me.

      Yes, it is.

Unfortunately, I believe #8 will be out of his hands.

Netanyahu is due to address Congress on July 24 during his visit to DC.

He will make a case for us to go to war against Iran.

I believe with this Administration in control that is very likely.

In case you were wondering, Palestinians killed to date is between 180 - 200k.  About 3k Israelis have died as well.

The number of Ukrainians killed is over 600k, the Russians have suffered about half that.

America entering into either regional conflict 'officially' will make those numbers look insignificant, and WWIII will be official, thanks to Biden.

        https://www.msn.com/en-in/news/world/le … 2021-02-02

The number you quoted about Ukraine is not that high, and is from russian sources and you forget to mention also includes civilian casualties.

I read about the war from in the Ukraine, russian, world media sources every day.

Russians are now using "barrier troops."  Do you know what that is?  They also use "human waves" for their combat operations.  It is not uncommon for russians to lose over 1,000 soldiers in a single day or battle.  This is not the behavior of a professional army, these are the tactics of a desperate army with weak leadership.

russia is not winning this war.  It is turning into a war of attrition.

I know Mike, your sources and mine are different.

I rely on former US Intel and Army Officers.

No matter how you want to slice it, more than a million Ukrainian and Russian people have died... this is thanks to the excellent leadership America currently has as much as it is any other reason.

This was Victoria Nuland and Joe Biden's wet dream. Among others.

One of the things you come to realize, once you have access to those who are in the upper echelon, the people making the calls... is that they are just as likely to be complete idiots as at any other level of society.

That is the sad truth, never more apparent then in what we have today as President and VP, and the assembly of complete incompetence in the Administration.

Are these the same ones who signed a pledge that hunter biden's laptop was russian disinformation?  So much for former US Intel and Army Officers.

The frustrating thing for Ukrainians is that Europe and the US supply weapons and then puts restrictions on how they can be used.  The Ukrainians have been fighting this war with one arm tied behind their back, unlike the russians.

Let the Ukrainians decide when and how these weapons can be used and the russian army will face even more significant losses.  If the Ukrainians can battle them to a standstill with their limited resources, having no restriction on their weapon usage, it would make huge difference.

              Yeah, I know.

I told you two years ago, or more, that was exactly what was going to happen to Ukraine.

Ukraine does not have the ability to win the war on its own.

America/UK/NATO can't allow you to take the weapons they can provide and use them to attack targets within Russia proper.   IF that happens the war escalates and Russia, correctly, would hold America/UK/NATO responsible and would retaliate against those nations.

This was always going to be another country that we abandon, the only other outcome was WWIII... which if Biden has his way, will occur, there will be direct American intervention and attacks against Russia.

The necessity to remove an Administration from power has never been more dire and urgent for America than to remove the Biden Administration, if its not already too late.

"The escalating behind-the-scenes disagreement over the abortion language has become so tense and acrimonious in recent weeks that some social conservative leaders have issued public warnings of a coming split within Trump’s coalition. Others have started to discuss an effort to issue a “minority report” to the platform at the convention, according to the people involved,"

These folks want personality and a national ban. They thought Trump would give them that.  Now they say he's stopped short of the goal.

What does CNN Politics say about the GOP Platform? They open with . . .

"Republicans adopted a new platform for Donald Trump’s third White House run that mainlines the former president’s policies and makes Trump himself a focus of the party. It is a fraction of the length of the 2016 platform and written in Trump’s voice. Republicans also softened their language on the issue of abortion — angering some anti-abortion activists — and made clear that, like Trump, the party will favor a state-by-state local approach to the issue, meaning they will support efforts to ban abortion outright in some states and allow it to exist in others. Here’s a look at the full Republican Party platform — their first new platform since 2016."

The text is displayed and there is commentary to the right of it. It is a lot of scrolling, however it does offer perspective.
