Which came first the chicken or the egg is a causality dilemma. Did Trump distance himself from Project 2025 so that his Agenda 47 is in the lime light as being original? Does it matter? To whom?

    Here is the scoop.

From Make America Great Again / Donald Trump website we discover Agenda 47. The name makes sense, right? Cute or clever?

    Agenda 47
    https://www.donaldjtrump.com/agenda47

Composed of 46 short videos Trump explains his policy goals. He clarifies his position on topics of interest. Worth a look then pick and choose what interests you most.

Yup, it does have controversy. That is natural, right?

If you think Project 2025 is scary, take a look at Donald Trump's Agenda 47 by the Advocate (July 9, 2024)

    Thoughts, criticisms, and accolades?

Here's a thought. The egg came first.

Evolutionary biology says the egg had to come first - from some bird species that produced the first mutated egg that later developed into the "chicken" branch of the tree.

Just recently heard that. Has the rest of the world known this all along and I'm a late-comer?

Ha-ha smile I hadn't heard that before. Thanks for sharing! So, now we're left with "why did the chicken cross the road?" More later.

You got me to go on a hunt.

I don't know if you follow the other main topic forum of writers here at HP or not. There is a prolific and accomplished writer there (Or, here at HP) in my book, Rupert Taylor, that did an article on the causality dilemma that made it to the HP niche site Owlcation. The article begins with theories, of which the first is . . .

"Creationists have no problem sorting out this paradox: God created chickens, which went on to lay eggs to produce more chickens. Case closed."

The Causality Dilemma (AKA the Chicken and Egg Question) by Rupert Taylor (updated June 1, 2024) Published at Owlcation a HubPages niche site.

Worth a few moments to read if for entertainment value alone.

On the question, "Why did the chicken cross the road?" I discovered an interesting article published at Harvard University Department of Physics that may perk your interest. It list answers by historical physicists. Pretty humorous if I say so myself. I am looking for chuckles these days and this fit the bill.

Taylor's article was a nice read, thanks.

Remaining in the physical reality that we know, I'll stick with the original mutation explanation. But the other two can't be taken off of the table - yet,

      Agenda47: Preventing World War III

      TRANSCRIPT

We have never been closer to World War III than we are today under Joe Biden. A global conflict between nuclear-armed powers would mean death and destruction on a scale unmatched in human history. It would be nuclear Armageddon. NOTHING is more important than avoiding that nightmare. We will avoid it. But we need new leadership.

Every day this proxy battle in Ukraine continues, we risk global war. We must be absolutely clear that our objective is to IMMEDIATELY have a total cessation of hostilities. All shooting has to stop. This is the central issue. We need PEACE without delay.

In addition, there must also be a complete commitment to dismantling the entire globalist neo-con establishment that is perpetually dragging us into endless wars, pretending to fight for freedom and democracy abroad, while they turn us into a third-world country and a third-world dictatorship right here at home.

I'm in, the rest of the issues don't matter if that doesn't happen.

Thanks for commenting, Ken and taking interest. I suspected or would have bet you would. Frankly, I have watched and read the transcripts on about a dozen so far that piqued my interest such as those aimed at education. I had not given attention to the one you drew attention to - WWIII.

Being a skeptic I went and watched the video and read the full transcript. Thanks for inspiring me to pursue it. What he shared makes good sense in some respects while others I am unsure.

Personally, WWIII isn't on the top of my list of fears, which is probably more selfish than anything. At my age it matters less, however I do consider my nieces and nephews and their children giving importance to the surrounding discussions.

There is a lot of damage that needs to be undone...

It will not happen under Biden or Harris... either would be a continuation of the plans this Administration has put in motion.

Assuming we have an election, the Ukraine Democracy we are so worried about suspended their elections indefinitely... lets hope they don't create some excuse to do that here as well.

At least we have two small hopes today... an internal war within the Democrat Party that ousts Biden & Harris and gives us someone more rational and capable... it would be practically impossible for them to present someone worse.

Or a Trump ticket with a really good VP and All-Star supporting Administration that was missing from his first term.

I may even reconsider my vote as I complete my reading of all of the Agenda 47 contributions since I weigh pros and cons. Interesting enough I have read several articles recently sharing that though Trump is distancing himself from Project 2025, if implemented it in fact would be creating a deep state.

A trade off for which deep state is in power perhaps, yet remains being bureaucracy or the fourth branch of government. Yes, his aim is to change the civil service, but bureaucracy at higher levels remains being bureaucracy.

Yes, trading one master for another is not the goal.

However, what Trump might be able to accomplish if such efforts were made to create that is not as real or serious as what is currently driving matters today.

Putting the brakes on our war with Russia... no chance of that with Biden.

Then there is the relationship with Iran, who funds Hamas, the Houthis and Hezbollah... it is insane how bad things are getting with this Administration handling things...
