Since HP no longer lets us comment on hubs, I'll just share this one.

Did you mean to post that forum thread?

I will quote GMWILLIAMS who recently posted:
"It is a socioeconomics thing.   Many people in the more affluent socioeconomic class aren't as affected by inflation as those who aren't as affluent.   The present Democratic Party is no longer concerned about the solidly middle class, they are allied w/ the highly educated upper middle & particularly upper class elites."

That sums it up well enough... if you are 'well off' and have an income of six digits with little or no debt, or have a savings of a few million dollars in assets not leveraged, then you don't really notice 'inflation'.

But if you are an American, single or family, earning below six figures, or retired (or wanting to be retired) without a savings of at least a million dollars to work with... then the cumulative impact of inflation from the last 3 years is nothing less than crushing to you.

I am one of those single Americans, making less than six figures, and have been able to build my savings back up during these last three years.  Inflation was barely noticeable.  The assessment that the right thinks is reality, is another of their delusional creations.

Sure, inflation does impact many Americans, and the right is currently only talking about another tax cut for the rich as the solution.  As if Trickle Down Economics will help those struggling the most.

What we do hear is the right complaining about inflation, and then when the solution to that inflation is the economy receding, they complain about that as well.  At this point, the right is just going to whine and try and frame the problem and the solution as the end of the world.  Meaning, they don't know what they are talking about.
