Weighing lies, and now dangerous issues. Is this kind of mindset putting our Nation in peril?

    https://hubstatic.com/17226039.png

A recent media story from Aurora, Colorado, highlighted a disturbing situation where migrant gangs, armed with AK-15s and other weapons, were caught on video breaking into an apartment. Reports suggest these gangs have taken control of multiple apartment buildings. Inside these buildings, they are allegedly involved in illegal activities such as drug trafficking, intimidation of residents, and using the apartments as bases for their operations.

This issue goes beyond simple disputes—it touches on serious concerns affecting the community due to rising migrant crime. In a recent interview, Martha Raddatz spoke with Senator JD Vance. Raddatz downplayed the situation by noting that “this is happening in only a few apartment complexes.” Vance was quick to challenge her, saying, “Only a few?” and reminding her that this is America. Such issues should never be tolerated or minimized, no matter how isolated they seem. He questioned whether we are willing to allow the U.S. to become like the countries these gangs are fleeing—where lawlessness and violent gangs dominate cities and properties.

It is evident that Raddatz, like many others, has been influenced by a more complacent approach to such issues. The suggestion of weighing the issue—whether it's "only a few" incidents—misses the point. There was a time when this type of violent behavior would not have been casually brushed aside. It would have been unacceptable for gangs to take over buildings, wield weapons openly, or terrorize communities. And it would have been expected that authorities take action.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=demP-9_swls

Yet today, we find parts of society willing to rationalize or downplay these issues. This isn’t about lies or exaggerations—it’s about the real and dangerous threat posed by violent migrants who are undermining the safety of those forced to live in these conditions. And the question remains—are we willing to dismiss it because it’s “only a handful of apartment complexes”?

Weighing lies and dangerous issues that affect America's safety.  Could this kind of mindset put our Nation in peril?

Is this the kind of mindset acceptable to you?

Would you like to live in one of the few apartment complexes where these gangs have taken over?  I mean it's just a few....

      Published September 2nd...

Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman announced on Friday that the City Attorney's Office will seek legal assistance to have the properties designated as a criminal nuisance.

It comes after footage emerged online of the gang storming the apartment complex. Former president Donald Trump said at a campaign rally Friday that the town had been "overrun".

"This will require a municipal judge to issue the order with the goal of getting these properties back under the control of the property owners,"

"I strongly believe the best course of action is to shut these [buildings] down and make sure this never happens again,"

Aurora Police Department Interim Chief Heather Morris said in a statement on Friday that "gang members have not taken over" the complex.

"I'm not saying that there aren't gang members that don't live in this community," Morris said. "But what we're learning out here is that gang members have not taken over this complex."

Aurora Police Department Interim Chief Morris stated that officers have been present in the area and at the complex to gather information from residents. She noted that the officers have discovered there is "definitely a different picture" of what is happening.

Morris stated that the local authorities have "really made an effort" in recent days to ask specific questions about gang activity in the area and at the complex.

What else can they do?  And since I know that this ties back into the border...

While there are efforts to screen potential gang members, the sheer volume of individuals crossing border, claiming asylum can make it difficult to thoroughly vet everyone.  As usual, all roads lead back to our immigration laws.  What's the plan to make some changes in the law?

I would think sooner or later citizens will start to speak up. However, I would think they would be fearful. This is how gangs take over areas and make citizens fearful.  It is even more of a problem due to many areas they have settled in are very liberal areas, sanctuary cities. Liberals are not well-known for having let's say. having what it takes to solve problems, and just become accustomed to living with their problems. Hence the crime rates in liberal cities.

"A recent media story from Aurora, Colorado, highlighted a disturbing situation where migrant gangs, armed with AK-15s and other weapons, were caught on video breaking into an apartment."

This very first incident is beyond a "disturbing situation," Sharlee! Why do you write so calmly/intellectually about this? Never mind, I am here! Call me a Karen ... don't care!

Every citizen in the country should be demanding an answer as to how these evil guys from some other country got this FAR!!!!!!

                                        NO! yikes!!!!!

The illegal aliens holding up our citizens need to be arrested and put in PRISON far, far away ... in their own country. They should be rounded up and deported ... like yesterday!!! We shouldn't even be hearing about this incident. The governor and the local police force should have dealt with it swiftly and efficiently the day the first calls came into the police department from the defenseless tenants ... long before the video was even shot.

A real threat needs to be dealt with in a real way.

    Q. What is that real way and why hasn't it been done?

    1. Kathryn L Hill profile image84
Kathryn L Hillposted 9 months agoin reply to this

... and by the way who shot the video? A tenant? If so, could that tenant or any of the tenants who are in living in the apartment complex come forward and tell their story?  (Of course, the main stream news media will never air an interview with the tenants explaining what they witnessed and are possibly still going through, but surely such a video could be posted somewhere ... like on America's Real Voice!)

Also,  the fact that we haven't heard whether or not the situation has been resolved is very disturbing/maddening.

    Sharlee's Q:

"Would you like to live near or in one of the few apartment complexes where these gangs have taken over?  I mean it's just a few....  Would you feel comfortable passing a neighbor in the hall with an automatic weapon?"

    My A:

               OF COURSE NOT ! !  "A FEW ?"  "A HANDFUL ?"  Oh my gosh!!!!!

    Let's hear from the tenants!

I just got it: It is a ploy to take away automatic riffles.

    Thats what it really is:
~ no conspiracies ... but there are

                              no coincidences.

.... so they (the Deep Blue Dems: DBD) let the situation fester and fester and fester.

This kind of federal agency weaponization is, in my opinion, just par for the course with this administration. They spin colossal lies to maintain their grip on Deadhead. Ken, it's truly appalling—another cheap stunt to sneak in a candidate who's about as qualified as a rubber chicken. A puppet with zero substance.

It's crystal clear: we have people who prioritize lies and conveniently ignore violence and gang activity, insisting it's just a few bad apples and that the police have it all under control. Reports like this just sail over their heads. They’ll overlook anything if it keeps Trump out of the picture—a guy who actually has the guts to tackle problems head-on and try to fix them. Meanwhile, we’ve got the fence-sitters, the indecisive types who can’t even figure out what cereal to eat for breakfast, blissfully unaware that the prices have nearly doubled.  Ken, no I am sure this cheap political ploy will zoom right over many heads. I mean many have accepted it not to be a problem to have migrant criminals in our Nation, fro countries they would never even consider stepping foot in, due to the crime rates.

The FBI recently updated its crime statistics, revealing significant changes in violent crime trends for 2022 and 2023.

For 2022, it was initially reported that violent crime had decreased by 2.1%. However, following a revision, the FBI now indicates that violent crime actually rose by 4.5% compared to 2021, with an additional 80,029 violent crimes added to the total count. This includes increases in murders, rapes, robberies, and aggravated assaults

I have found nothing officially from the FBI. The story just broke, and tons of outlets are posting it.

I would think they should respond soon. I certainly would also like to know how this kind of mistake could be made.

I'm pretty sure much of CO is "weapon free" zoned...

      No weapons allowed.

Therefore, those who obey the laws won't have weapons, those that make their own laws and rules could care less about their "gun free" zones.

Newsom wants to use this private legal action to enforce California’s ban on so-called “assault weapons” and privately made guns (what gun control advocates call “ghost guns”). But his whole strategy is a bit of a mystery. California already bans anyone who manufactures, distributes, or sells assault weapons or ghost gun kits or parts. Their assault weapon ban has been in place for decades. There is no evidence that gun dealers in California have continued selling these banned weapons.
