These are from an X thread: Grok images

A few were cute without needing the political thought behind them.

I loved them all... Pretty funny pics. I love seeing posts like this, I mean I have been walking on air for weeks now, and feel like I can breathe, laugh and should I say be "joyful"---

And Democrats are feeling the opposite, probably to the same degree as you.

Whether warranted or not, much of the country—even non-Trumpers—is feeling optimistic. At least that is the perception of the reporting I see.

I agree, I see optimism everywhere I turn. I am a person who chats at several forums, and I see true changes going on, yes optimism.

ick... optimism ... we're all doomed ... no room in life for optimism.

Good video, I hope others here will watch it.

Dr. Gabrielle Krone-Schmalz makes a compelling case about the war in Ukraine, and her points resonate strongly with me. She argues that this conflict could have been avoided through meaningful negotiations before it ever escalated, and I agree entirely. It’s clear this has been treated as a proxy war, with NATO and the U.S. avoiding direct involvement at the cost of Ukrainian lives. While keeping American and European soldiers safe, the West has fueled a devastating conflict that never needed to happen in the first place.

To me, this is yet another example of short-sighted geopolitical strategies where leaders prioritize power plays over peace. Trump’s approach to foreign policy suggests he would not have supported or will he support such a war,  and I believe he’d focus on negotiations rather than escalation.  If he has no Luck, well I feel he will cut the funds.

Meanwhile, the EU now faces the fallout of stirring a hornet’s nest and will struggle to manage this without continued U.S. support. It’s time to rethink these dangerous strategies before more lives are lost in wars that serve political interests rather than people. Hopefully, Trump will pull a rabbit out of a hat, and settle the war with negotiations.

I remember when this war began; you and I were in complete agreement about the consequences of a proxy war. Despite the obvious common sense behind our views, they were largely ignored, and we faced plenty of criticism for expressing them. It’s frustrating how, when the US aggressions fail, we tend to book up and move on and never look back. You’d think history would have spoken loud enough to guide us, but sadly, it didn’t.

Germany destroyed its economy supporting/allowing this war...

I have no sympathy for them or France... those governments were the primary backers of the Minsk Agreements meant to end the conflict...

And now their governments are in collapse... their economies sliding into a deep recession that they will not be able to pull themselves out of...

The cheap energy Russia had been providing them that drove their economy is gone... it now flows to India and China making those nations, their economies stronger... making BRICS stronger...

The EU will continue to fall into chaos... between having taken in tens of millions of people who hate their religion and their culture... and having lost the cheap reliable energy and resources that Russia had been providing they are doomed.

The EU's only chance is if the US&UK win their war against Russia and gain control over the trillions worth of resources Russia possesses that the EU so desperately needs.

      Giggle + giggle . . .

I always appreciate the creative mind. Yes, creative and political thoughts are cohorts as a theme running through history. Some say the intent is to preserve sanity. Political thought is said to come from the amygdala and anterior cingulate cortex of the brain while creativity is attributed to the right-hemisphere.

BTW . . . the link goes to la-la land for me. Just a blank page.
