How many remember and really understand?

Many remember the Holocaust. As for true understanding, that is nearly impossible unless you were one of the victims.

It was a sad and tragic thing, but it did play an important role. It made people open their eyes and see that no human being should be treated like an animal and that we all have the same rights.

The only thing we can do now is honor the victims of the Holocaust by treating others with the same respect and decency we demand for ourselves. We should also remember that no one person is to blame.
