This IS NOT the end
We won't know the full impact of "Operation Iraqi Freedom" for many years. We went in on a faulty premise (that Iraq had WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION), which they DIDN'T, got rid of a ruthless dictator, but now, Iraq is in utter CHAOS.
Of course you know the real reason he is ending the war over there don't you? He is a muslim and he is protecting his people. That was sarcasm in case anyone starts to agree with me.
Ar first I thought, wow, we will be able to save billions of dollars every month from the cost of this war effort. Then I realized it will simply be an accounting task that involves changing the name on the monthly check from US Dept. of Def. to Halliburton/XE Corp. They aren't about to give up this gravy train anytime soon. Halliburton will need all the tax payers money it can get to pay the settlements to the gulf coast tax payers for their latest example of their typically shoddy work on the well.
Oh yes, this is where he will try to take credit for the success of the surge that he voted against. It should be interesting...
Now lets get the rest of our people out of there and out of Afghanistan, then I'll at least have something nice to say about Obama.
