If you knew the fetus you were carrying had a physical abnormality and most likely wouldn't take its first breath, would you contine with the pregnancy?
What for?...the sooner you rid the uterus of a defective fetus the better your life will be.
I can see no good coming of continuing a pregnancy that I knew was going to be stillborn. That's psychologically messed up for the mother and doesn't in any way help the fetus.
BABIES can feel pain, and unlike adults they can't understand it. If it isn't going to be born alive, why put the poor child through that?
