This pulls it all together... with this perspective you can see why Obama's budget just continues to spend money we don't have... you understand why the G20 is meeting to discuss eliminating the dollar as the world's currency... it now becomes clear why Obama pushed his unconstitutional health care bill through... now I know why Soros is fiancing liberal groups.... The destruction of America as we know it is coming and liberals see their opportunity to rise to power... There is revolution in the middle east... why now? ... because the weak dollar is causing hyper inflation in those countries where a greater percentage of their income is spent on food... remember how it was reported mist Egyptians live on 2 dollars a day? What happens when that 2 dollars is only worth 10 cents?
We didn't get here by Obama's hand... but he is determined to bring us to the inevitable conclusion... his foot is onthe gas and the pedal is to the floor!
Says you. All she is doing is spewing more of the same garbage, she has already said. So, this is just a repeat of her position.
However, America's government hasn't address the Economy properly since it's inception and people are just now wondering why it's going to hell in a hand basket.
Good job people. The level of ignorance from the average person in America is astounding. WOW!
The article says the government is destroying the DOLLAR, not the ECONOMY.
Meanwhile, you don't have to look far to find optimistic news on the economy == within the same news site, as a matter of fact!

Hey Mighty Mom, no offense intended, but the dollar was made almost meaningless when the US went off the gold standard.
And like I've said before, the Economy isn't being approached like it should be, and that singular problem has been going on since the inception of America.
oh my god.
If you think that the dollar and the economy aren't connected then we're more doomed than I thought we were.
Pretending different things are the same thing is part and parcel of the conservative strategy.
Why do folks believe that Obama is the decision maker? I really dont think that countries are left up to the will of one person.
My point was that LaLo has a habit of changing key words from articles she posts and creating misleading titles for her forum posts.
I was merely pointing out that the article says "dollar" not "economy." It also says "government" not "Obama."
Are these words interchangeable?
Didn't read the article and i will still manage to post a more intelligent resonse than lady will. Here goes.
Why dont we have the money to to spend to improve this country? It can't possibly have anything to do with the pallets of $100 bills that president Cheney's group of thieves stole, right? It can't have anything to do with the billions of dollars in no bid, cost plus, contract president Cheney and his merry band of thieves passed out to the industries that pay for the legislation, they have to operate under, is it? It can't possibly have anything to do with the national debt we ran up with Saudia Princes for the two businesses Dubya ran into the ground that they financed, could it? Dubya doesn't owe anyone for the millions of dollars worth of business he snorted before becomin pres, does he? I mean it's not like Dubya's grandfather was a major banking and finacial contributor, and advisor to Hitler or anything. No that would indicate that they had something to do with both Pearl Harbor and 9/11. Well duh.
"Didn't read the article and i will still manage to post a more intelligent resonse than lady will. "
Stump Parish.. with all due respect, sincerely, you set the bar awfully low.
Wow, almost ten ten years later and we still hear the rallying cry of "Halliburton!" among the left.
No wonder we're still hearing"it's Bush's fault" two years into Obama's term.
So, after W left office, nothing he did had any further effect on the future? Really?
With his record setting spending and debt, the economy is squarely his baby.
With his refusal to change course in any meaningful way on the War On Terror, the war is now his war.
Obama needs to pull up his man britches and start accepting some responsibility....
"Says you. All she is doing is spewing more of the same garbage, she has already said. So, this is just a repeat of her position."
I would wager that she is interested in staying atop the Politics posting list..
good point and I have been thinking about the motives of someone who refuses to post an opinion on a location that can be google back to her. With out a social security number we cant prove she works for fox news but dan rather told me it was true.
Lol!!OMG!! Sstump and Mike see boogey men under every stone and around every corner! Well Stump I'm certain you got your facts wrong... but let's assume everything you said was true... what are the numbers? All you and Mike post are tin foil hat facts from far left liberal wacko web sites!
Oh I'm not here to be on top of any list only to talk about things that interest me.
Oh, you mean like what happened in 2008?
By all means, let's privatize Social Security! So that everyone in America can gamble their retirement on the stock market -- not to mention their own ability to discipline themselves to put money away (even under the proverbial mattress where it will be safe).
As per my earlier post, I did read the link.
One person's opinion.
He may have some valid points.
He may just be looking for attention.
My retirement is at least 3 administrations away.
With any luck, none of them will be Republican.

Obama misread his mandate.]/b] Obama's 2008 victory was a personal one, says Bill Galston, an adviser to President Clinton. It wasn't a vote for a more expansive view of the role and reach of government. The stimulus, on it's own, wasn't the problem. It was the thousands of easy-to-caricature pages...

The amount of false propaganda emerging from that network is literally tearing this country apart. Their viewers are so misinformed that it becomes impossible to have reasonable conversations with them. Example, the environment is a huge issue and yet every single Republican candidate...

I stole this from another thread, so the topic could be discussed without further hijacking the thread it was on. I hope that was OK.John, I am not putting forth criticisms for you to defend. I do not know enough about MMT to hold an intelligent conversation about it. I was merely pointing to...

What do you expect from Obama's 2nd term as US President? What changes from the previous term do you expect? What improvements to you hope will be made?
by Alexander A. Villarasa 7 years ago
In a rather desperate effort to divert the gaze of the American people away from the wreck that is his presidency, Obama, in conjunction with his press secretary, has started to call the various scandals that have bedeviled him the past 12 months or so, as PHONY.Really? I don't see...
