WikiLeaks: Iran providing Hamas with smuggle-ready rockets, says IDF
    Haaretz.com

    Qassam rockets:
Iran is manufacturing special missiles for Hamas that can be smuggled through tunnels into the Gaza Strip, according to the report of a conversation between Israel Defense Forces Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Harel and U.S. ambassador to Israel James Cunningham.

A cable on the discussion, which also involved senior officials of the U.S. State Department and Defense Department who came to Israel in February 2009, was sent from the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv on February 19 and is part of the WikiLeaks documents Haaretz is exclusively reporting.

Harel, who has meanwhile retired from the IDF, spoke at the meeting about Katyusha, Grad and Fajr rockets. The Katyusha was originally manufactured in the former Soviet Union, and was developed before World War II. It comes in diameters of 107 millimeters and 122 millimeters, with a range of up to 40 kilometers.

So this is Israel terrorising the US Ambassador who is only too pleased to pass this along so that the US gov. can terrorise its population.

It may of course be true, but who would trust such mutual self-interest with any truth or lack thereof ?

well many trusted WikiLeaks well enough to believe it when it was info against the US?  Soo, now it is questionable? It finds information like it always does, but against  Iran and now, it is no good?

shaking my head on that answer recomend.   smile

I don't doubt the source or that the conversation took place - just poointing out that the conversation by two high profile promoters of terrorism cuts more ways than one.

I agree with you, but I was just showing a path for weapons into Palestine as possibly true. and I Understand well the US makes mistakes, big ones.

I am not sure this is promoting panic, if so it is not my intent at all.

I guess I am implying here, though I am begining to think like this, and I do not wish to believe this way, that Arabs truly want only the destruction of the population in Israel, and not a solution to this at all.

Any oppossing opinion pointing out violence by some, or a problem with Islam or any other terrorist group,  is fear mongering, Dutch.

So what else is new. Arms are being supplied around the world to both the good guys and the bad guys.

So when does Obama start the bombing of Iran? I mean that is a "vital US interest and security matter"... as we know they have supplied training and arms to those fighting us in Iraq also... so when?

They're only terrorists if they hate the US.

They are terrorist if they use acts of terror against the civilian population to achieve a Political, Religious, or Ideological objective. Period!

It is not if they hate the US, but how they go about fighting against the US, or anyone else.
