That change won't help much. The last several presidents have been rather foolish about the threat Turkey poses to NATO now that it is controlled by a fundamentalist Muslim government. If Bashir Al Assad was more certain of military support he would have already launched attacks against the Turks in Northern Syria. Erdagon is contending with Iran for influence in the region. These ambitions are at odds with NATO. It is possible for Turkey to draw NATO into a conflict with Syria, Iraqi Kurds, Iran or even Israel(over the bogus flotillas to Gaza).

For some reason there is no edit button next to my hubs on the stats. I have two published and one I started on but there are no buttons or links to the left of the titles to let me revise and edit any of them.Is there any other page that might have a way to do this?
