There has been talk of the recent Republican debates being predictable and poorly moderated. Do you think so? How can they be improved?
They should just throw them all some boxing gloves...and go at it!
Quite frankly...maybe we should turn to each candidate having to write a 5000 word essay. I think this many debates have and will produce a champion...but a champion of what..."talking"!
We don't need anymore talking...by any more politicians...we need action. Sure...some talk helps get the job done. Same thing could be said for listening.
I haven't heard a lot of listening coming from politicians...ever!
As if an essay would be written by the candidate. It would most likely be written by his/her speech writer. In which case we still have to listen or read a bunch of lies.
Umm, I don't know but there might be a cattle prod involved...
I would spend 80% of the time on Ron Paul, and the remaining 20% would be spent asking the others questions like "What parts of Ron Paul's plan do you support?" and "If Ron Paul wins the nomination, as we all assume, would you support him?" and "When Ron Paul gets the nomination, will you run as a third party candidate?"
... that'll even the balances a bit.
How would I moderate a Republican debate?
Gag everybody except Huntsman. . . though it's too late for that strategy now, of course!
