Do you consider a person as "good" who is not good to many but very good to you?
If they are actively against others, for instance in a racist or homophobic way, then they're not a good person however well they may treat you because their treatment of you is based on certain conditions. However if they simply prefer to keep most people at arms length but treat you well then they probably are a 'good' person.
When someone is good to you, but treats others badly and you know about it, it is a red flag to you to stay on your toes. You also will not be as surprised when he turns on you!
