Why is it our Body image and identity is defined by the television, other people and old men??
We are all trying to change something about ourselves, our hair, stomach, thighs??? I am in the image business and it amazes how many women and what those women will do just to look good.
Come on, women are far more concerned about what other women think about them then about what men think. Women dress for other women.
Because we rely to heavily on what our appearance says to other people. We haven't gained a sense of comfortability with our own bodies, because there aren't enough people around that accept us for us.
Our body image and identities are only defined by tv, other people and (any) men IF WE LET THEM! If we accept ourselves the way we are and change those things we cannot accept, that is how we find inner peace and self-love.
