Would you date a police officer?

Recently I have come across a guy that caught my eye. He's very attractive, sweet, and honest. When we started to talk and discuss common interests, he informed me right away what his "day job" was. He is a city police officer (NOT in the same city I met him at) and the fact that he's a cop has a few of my friends in a disapproving tizzy! However, now knowing that he is an officer of the law it has me more fascinated in him than ever! I'm also wondering if it's hard for a SINGLE police-man/woman to date?

As long as you are prepared for the fact that some dates may have to be postponed because of his job, why not?  If your friends are disapproving because of this job I would wonder why.  If they are doing nothing wrong, his choice of being a police officer shouldn't bother them.  In fact, I think his being a police officer is a plus - it would be for me.

If you like him and want to date him - go for it!

If I wasn't married then yes I would.  I like a man in uniform.

Why not? If both of you click together, I can't find any reason for not being together.

Love is mysterious sort of feeling so go ahead and date him. It might be a wonderful idea.

Sure a job isn't a reason to not have a relationship. In my experience officers of the law are just like everybody else. And I do mean everybody else. They ARE only human.

Be vigilant. Check whether he is "uniform"ly in love with you!
