Mistaken Need for Love?
Have you heard this scenario before?
1) A person loves their spouse, yet feels they don't need them.
2) A person needs their spouse, to be the blame for their mistakes. Not acknowledging this is why they love them, to stay around.
This sounds familiar to me. Perhaps this person has become complacent in the marriage and is needing some excitement. But using a spouse to blame for mistakes is not healthy. I would suggest this person seek professional help or discuss their feelings with a trusted friend.
