Have you ever had a Squatter problem? Do you know your state law about this?
I met Wojo in Honolulu about a year ago. I moved to Sierra Vista 8 months ago. 13 Days ago Wojo came to Arizona and had his mail forwarded to me. Now he is claiming squatters right's.
I haven't personally dealt with it, but find it pretty interesting.
In the states, the legal term for squatters rights is "Adverse Possession" and each state tends to look at it differently. Where I live I think you have to live in the house for around 10 years before you can claim it and there is a time period where the owner can still dispute it.
When you look at some of the cities in America that have a lot of vacant bank owned homes, it is a shame we couldn't set up some sort of squatters program...
