If I follow someone is it complimentary for them to follow me back?
I think this is a basic question. I know we are busy people but as people want to connect is it okay to beg to be followed or is it just something that happens with a hope and prayer someone will follow what one writes.
I see people begging to be followed else where as it were the means to the end. So do you follow someone that follows you?
No, view their hubs, if they write well written hubs that are on subjects that you find interesting, follow them or not, as you wish. There would be little point in following a hubber who writes about heavy metal rock and you're into Beethoven. Or, as in my case, I have a couple of hubbers following me who write poetry, which is of no interest to me so I don't follow them, I can't leave any sensible comments on their hubs.
Some hubbers just go through the alphabet and follow everyone on the list for that letter as if they need to follow everyone, just ignore it.

Would you like me to follow you on Pinterest?I recently joined Pinterest because I've been seeing an increase in traffic from there. (Thanks to the people who pinned my hubs!!) Because it obviously helps to be following others, I'm more than happy to follow other hubbers.I'm wondering if it would...

Do people really read the hubs of people they follow? Is it just me but I tend not to follow too many hubbers because I would never have time to write if I read all the hubs they submit. Perhaps I’m being naive here … but it seems disrespectful to follow them and then not read their work. Do...
