    despite what influences they may run into?

    Don't let them listen to what radio people call "popular music," for it is mediocre and substandard, and rarely has any redeeming moreal virtue.

    Don't let them watch television unsupervised, for the goal of mass media is to reduce your child to an indoctrinated wage slave without the ability to question authority, or think independently.

    We must teach our students and children that they are accountable for their actions.  For example, if they should fail a test or not do well in a course at school, they should know that it is their own fault, and not the fault of their teacher or someone else.
