Hi Ms. Ogans, I loved your latest post on being a strong woman in god...thanks for sharing...
this...My question is that I am trying to live godly and am finding that I need to remain single and not dating..because of possible sexual temptations. Is it possible to have a meaningful relationship without having sex? Very hard to find a godly man who sticks by his morals and is not interested in just having sex..? help...Advisor001
mdiggs1234, I must first apologize for just now noticing your question! Yes! It is possible to have a quality relationship without having sex. A good man would respect your choice to want to wait and first establish your relationship.
There is an exchange that takes place when sex occurs, and it makes it much more difficult to be objective… You actually give parts of you away when you bond sexually… This is why it said to “Save yourself” when you do not indulge in sex outside of marriage As the Word says “you become one” You have made a wonderful decision to wait… It may be difficult but it is possible! Waiting until you find someone who shares your decision will be worth the wait. This way you get to know them without having them enter you… “It is God’s will that you should be sanctified ; that you should avoid sexual immorality, and that each of you should control your own body. ..” I Thessalonians 4. Your body is a Temple and the Lord will Bless you as you practice self discipline you also honor Him! You have made a wise decision. Thank you and I am so glad that you enjoyed this… I hope this is helpful!
Thank you for taking the time to share, In HIS Love, Grace, Joy, Peace & Blessings! God BLESS YOU!
