Should we expect a certain amount of "baggage" if looking for Mr. Right in your 30's?

I'm having trouble sorting out person and number in this, let alone the suitcase.

Maybe by that age people have collected more baggage, they may also have learned better how to carry it so that it doesn't really affect those around them.

Or maybe I'm just being hopeful since I'm single and in my 30s.  Also, Mr. and Mrs. Rights are never very easy.

baggage is such an ugly word. if you are looking for a man then you take what goes with him. it's not baggage , it part of his past and what made him what he is.

As a professional counselor who’s worked extensively with evidence-based intervention strategies, I have to say that in many cases working with “baggage” from a previous relationship can represent incredibly valuable opportunities for developing and implementing proven relationship-skills.
Mistakes from past relationships can be learned-from without harming your current relationship, while actually strengthening it. What is very important is to work with the correct strategies and to learn the right skills.

Yes, absolutely. Anyone over the age of 14 has at least a duffle.

That could be hard...Nobody is perfect  but everybody is entitled to be happy no matter what. In this life that full of trials it is not good to expect. If ever your Mr. right come along in your way, you have to embrace his strength and weaknesses. Goodluck
