    we broke up with boyfriend 1year ago, now he wants me back and says this time its for marriage, how

    We have been in a friendship for 7 years as friends, and an on and off relationship where he kept breaking up saying he was not sure about us.
    Every time he comes back into my life endearing himself to me and saying how mistaken he was to let go of me. I have liked him all through but now am beginning to wonder whether this has become a game to him?!?!?

    I think you should dump him and refuse to get back together with him. I know it's hard especially since you guys have been close for so long, but since he's proven to be flaky when it comes to commitment it might be best for you to stop this cycle while you still can. You deserve better smile

    If you want to find out if he's serious about exploring marriage, I recommend attending 7 or so sessions of EFT couples' counseling. Through a brief evidence-based relationship intervention, a trained EFT therapist will be able to discern the extent to which he is serious and help you both to repair the emotional injury you've accumulated through his inconsistent availability in the past.  EFT will also strongly prepare you both for marriage and affair-proof your relationship emotionally and physically.
