   It very much depends on the manner of thier departure.If it's death a mixture of anger and grief,A bad tempered break-up some anger, no grief, and little introspection,then on with life. A amicable break-up realization that the love is gone then a little grief,no anger and on with life adding another very close friend.

   When the person you love leaves you, it can really hurt. The grief you experience is almost worst than if the person died. But that’s not your fault. That’s the way humans are made and why we might feel like we’re going crazy.
   
   So it is important to take care of yourself, first and foremost. Make a vow that you’re not going to think about your ex for 30 days. Get together with your friends and do new things. Don’t dwell on your lover. Rather, talk to the types of people you might not have talked to before. Face the world in the morning as if you’re looking for a new friend. Get into your work. If you’re in school, start networking with other students on your homework.
   
   If you feel depressed after 30 days, go see a mental health professional. And remember, down the road you will have learned something from this experience. But right now it’s important to start letting it go.

   One of the best ways to deal with this problem is to learn how to accept it. The more you fight accepting it, the harder it will be to deal with it. Acceptance and forgiveness are the two key ingredients to finding peace and happiness in any situation. otherwise its up to you..

   It's very hard if someone I love leaves me. One of the hardest things in life to deal with. The heart actually hurts, the tears hurt also.

   You don't deal with it you have to live with it and let it pass. It will take time and hurt for a long time but why would you want to love someone and be with someone who doesn't love you.
   Letting go and separating is the best thing that could happen to you since it would have just wasted more of your life and added more hurt to your life if you'd have stayed together.
   
   You must find your own strength, become physically and mentally strong, self-sufficient in your own way to protect and provide for yourself.
