This may not be relevant to you, still it 'Rajni' a female first name. I never thought of a favorite male name.
About females, I like the sound 'j' and any name that has this sound. My first beloved's name is 'Rajeshwari' incidentally.
Favourite Male Names are Richard and William. I like Richard, because its the name of my favourite fictional character, Richard Sharpe (Bernard Cornwell books). William because it was my Granddad's name, and he was my hero.
Favourite Female Names are Helen and Lucy, I think its because my first girlfriend was called Helen, or maybe because of Helen of Troy, I'm not sure. I like Lucy because its the sort of name that just sounds very gentle and feminine.
Christina for a female and Sean for a male. I have no idea why. I wish I knew, but I don't. Those are two names I always favored.
Female names are Aniston, and Adison.
Male names are Bryce, and Eric.
The reason these are my favorite names is because those are the names I'm naming my children one day. I love all of the names they are so unique
Female names: Gabriela (Heroine of God, its root is Hebrew) it is a portuguese name. I love it; it is mystic, sweet and powerful. The name of my baby girl who is in heaven.
Male name: Diego (Derives from Hebrew. Spanish origin) In Spanish the name is a version of James, (didasko=to teach). Via the name of Saint James the Great. In my opinion the name inspires elegance and high values. Just love it.
Being an Indian it will be easy for me to select from the list of Indian names. Anything which is not very common becomes my choice. Regarding names I am very particular about meanings and then the sound of it as well as the length of it. Beautiful meaning makes the name truly beautiful.
'Soumil' is a male name and I chose this name for my son because of its meaning and it means 'friend'. He is just ten years of age but trying to prove his name perfect as he is always busy in making friends.
'Ananyaa' is a female name which means 'unique'. This is my niece's name and it is very suitable for her as she is the only female among the males in her generation. Secondly, this name was given to her by my uncle who is no more and I was very fond of him.
Female names are:
1. Stella
2. Jenisha
