How to engage someone in a conversation?
The world is full of different personalities and it sometimes becomes a difficult task to engage someone in a good conversation. What are the tips and tricks that can help in having a good chat session with the other?
The easiest way to engage different personalities in a conversation is to have them talk about their interest. Ask open ended questions that requires a yes or a no answer. Use the formula asking what they think about something that is of interest to them. Listen intensively because it is a known fact that a good conversationalist got to be a good listener.
Talk about something you both have in common. Where do they get their clothes? What is interesting about them? Do you like their style? What are they doing? Do you like that coffee as well? Did they order a different burger? Why are they getting three of everything? What song are they humming? Etc.
Just say this "Hey man, what's up." and smile be cool and smooth
Approach the person with a friendly smile and talk about him! Ask him questions, find out hat he is interested in. I think a lot of people appreciate the other person showing some interest in them. Be engaging, cheerful, and look the person in the eye. Show sincerity.
