What is your view of alumnae involvement in sororities?
Alumnae can be a great support system for an organization if accepted and utilized by collegians.
Been there, done that. It make me happy to have moved on. I served as the alumnae historian briefly, though, and that was helpful to the active college members. So it can have value. But, sadly, it seems that it also marks a kind of arrested development in clinging to the past. Perhaps it depends on the sorority and the location.
I think they can be a great asset to current sorority members. Years of life and career experience lend many opportunities for mentoring and development of improved understanding shared by both! Great idea!
