If men could ALSO have babies how different do you think the world would be as we know it today?

Would the population have increased or decreased due to the decisions of who would have the child and why? Do you think men and women would be treated more as equals than now?  What do you think the main difference would be?

    1. There would have been a lot of babies everywhere
    2. Women would have also ditched men and run away after making them pregnant.
    3. The 'safety precautions' companies would have been richer than Bill Gates. big_smile

If men could also have babies... i dont think there would be a society as we know it. societies were based on the concept we have of "family".. correct or not.. right or wrong. they were based on that. so the whole concept of society would have been absolutely different. in ancient times. women married simply because they needed protection for them and their children.. now imagine that men would need that too... impossible to say how it would affect it

I think if men could have babies they'd have more respect for what women go through when they give birth!

I think there would be more equality.  I also think that male politicians would not be suggesting bans on birth control, and that male workers would not be annoyed by maternity leave or time taken off work to care for sick children.

I count my children as the most amazing experiences of my life, but it does take away from other parts of life for 2-3 years of total health and commitment and care.  Pre-baby I worked 50-60 hour weeks sometimes, and that is nothing to being on call 24/7!

I think when men can give birth as much as we do, the probability of birth control will be high and Yes, men and women will treat each other as equals.

The world would be a better place because both men and women would understand each other better and tend to want to stay together more and EMPATHIZE with one another. They would be more equal, because the men that stay home to raise their babies would be supported by female breadwinners more often. And decisions about who stays home would be based solely on economics, not male/female dynamics.

If men could have babies, they would probably get pregnant every nine months. Furthermore, there would be more understanding between them and their wives.

More equality, more sympathy for women issues. It would be less likely for girls to develop "daddy issues," since most men would be more involved in their kids lives..especially their daughters.

If both men and women could have babies I feel the population of the world would come down drastically within a decade because both men and women would be spending more time fighting who should have the next baby than actually producing one.
