Friends - They know most things about me. My style, favorite colors, schedule, hobbies, where I live, all of my accounts, etc.
Acquaintances - They only know what little I tell them.
Colleagues - They know my work and school schedule. What pets I have and how many, teaching style, etc.

I don't confide as much to acquaintances or colleagues. I keep my private life private. My friends would be aware of what is happening to me on a day to day basis.

I never feel comfortable talking to work colleagues about personal stuff. Acquaintances are people I wouldn't even thing about confiding in.

It just seems to be one of those rules I live by.

    I do.

Such that I only keep secrets, plans, fears and the likes with my friends. With my friends, there would never come a time that I will not feel guilty if I forgot something I should not have.

For acquaintances and colleagues, yes, I'm friendly and civil towards them but I have inhibitions as to what to tell and whether i can trust them so I'd rather shy away from the sharing of confidential things.
