   Absolutely not. That is why we all reserve the right to disagree. Differing opinions abets creative thinking. Pontification, on the other hand, is an entirely different story...

   What a good question.  No, it does not.  As the elders use to say "the proof is in the pudding,"  I am a Christian and Salvation is a way of life.  One of my favorite principles in scripture is "love covers a multitude of sin."  Love is a powerful tool that we choose not to use because of our own selfishness or even the desire to be RIGHT,  I work in an environment where people believe in Genies to Christ.  My experience with God has allowed me to be flexible and not fearful of other beliefs.  Knowing that my life needs to reflect His character and when asked what I believe, I can give them a solid answer.  Oftentimes, I've had to counsel people of a                      different faith in distress and after we've come to a resolution, they'll ask "how do you do it?"  I share my faith and they often reply "I didn't know? and I'm tickled to death!

   Honest sharing, even of beliefs, opinions or convictions that are different from mine, is enjoyable, especially if we are seeking to learn from each other. It is when it is judgmental that I feel offended; telling me I'm wrong with no explanation or with reasons that show they are not even trying to understand what I shared. Disrespectful attempts to shoot me down are offensive.

   It used to bother me a bit, when I was much younger - until I found out how much I was missing out on. Now I find it quite intriguing to hear about other people's beliefs, opinions and covictions. I may not be convinced by their arguments, I may not agree with them, but still want to hear what they have to say.

   Not at all. I just take issue when certain people decide to become judgmental o belligerent with me because I have different views than they do.
