It depends on what you mean by "show". If it means that a man does not get emotional about something, then it is false. I, for one, am an emotional guy. I have very deep emotions. However, if you say that a man does not express emotions on his face, it may be true. I very rarely allow my expressions to show up on my face. Not because it is not manly, but simply because others don't have a business knowing my emotions.

For the most part, men are conditioned to contain outward expression of "soft" emotions. Anger, rage, bravado, or humor are ok for men to show. However, in my experience as a counselor working with police officers, "manly men" are capable of showing a range of emotions. It's a myth that men don't feel or have emotions. They will express them outwardly in vulnerable situations.

Men do get emotional,  but don't show their emotions, I  have seen that in men and know how they try to hold their emotions in public and would only open up when alone. It is a man thing, they want to to show others they are strong. and manly.

Sure men have many emotions.  They become sad, angry, scared, excited, happy, physical aroused which is all part of a human's mind process.

I have heard it often said that men have no emotions while women have lots of emotions. I don't think that it is quiet true to say men have no emotions. I think the truer line on this is that we men act tough and so our emotions do not show. While women will often let their emotions flow where-ever they are.
It is not true that men have no emotions. Men are just better are keep their emotions covert.

It is dead certainly true...when the guy has assumed room temperature and is extinct!  Same thing goes for women, now that I mention it...

no emotion? none... I disagree. we've seen our fathers and brothers get angry. we've seen our male friends really love a woman and be in the element of happiness. they show emotion. That they do. they're human aren't they? Humans have the elements of emotions and rationality. Men however are rational beings so it is much harder for them to express what they're feeling. in words or actions. they think before they feel. thinking comes first. and if they're thoughts overwhelm them, that's when the cracks begin to show. but whether they think more than feel is irrelevant. they feel and when they feel, they show. So men do show emotions..
