Boy - we do have a lot of threads started by "straight" men questioning homosexuality.

So - I am starting a "which latent homosexual will come out first"? thread, and maybe we could have a little side betting?

Any one want to start? I know who my favorite is...........

Gay people seem to be more liberal minded. If you ask me that's more of a defect than being gay.

I haven't any idea! It's really odd though considering liberals hate freedom and gays just want to be free! I wonder how you reconcile those opposing ideas?

LOL! That's your answer to everyone that opposes your warped view, well that and Sarah Palin! If you consider yourself to have a mind, then I'm glad you think I don't! Only a fool uses insults to support his views because he has nothing else!

    My guess:

    - those who think (suggest) that anyone can come out later in life, and it's because of a choice (hint, hint)
    - those who are hanging onto the proverbial heterosexual thread by the Power of Jesus Christ®
    - those who have to remind people constantly that they're really, really, really attracted to the opposite sex

I think there are several candidates across these criteria. lol

This is really sad. I mean come on. Why can't we just leave gay people alone? so what if they are more liberal? I have gay family members and this is an insult! Being gay is not a defect and being a liberal is not a defect. Grow up!

We probably all have gay relatives, my sister after years of declaring heterosexuality is now a lesbian. She sure liked having sex with guys when she was younger but now she doesn't. My question to her was why she didn't know it sooner? Her answer "I thought I liked men." Excuse my curiosity, for 30 years she was happily hetero now she ain't.

      1. livelonger profile image86
livelongerposted 14 years agoin reply to this

Why don't you ask her? Assuming you're used to being honest and frank with her, maybe she can explain why she "suddenly" is attracted to women instead of (or more than) men.

Poppa Bluesposted 14 years agoin reply to this

I didn't actually say being gay was a defect, but it certainly can't be construed to be the intention of nature if propagation of the species is the criteria for successful organisms. Still, I have nothing against gay people. Their proclivities don't affect me one way or the other. Liberals however are another matter. Their views go against nature and that is indeed a defect. Of course there is always hope that they can be shown the error of their ways!
