Ive noticed already that the Hubs that I deem most worthy or never the highest ranked or viewed.
Which of your Hubs do you wish all would read? With link please. -Josh
Thanks for your generous idea sunforged - I have been a couple of times to this forum and have read a number of the links put up such hubbers as gamer girl, Em, Benson & others, and have really enjoyed their writing ..... so here is one of mine that just doesn't seem to have created interest...
http://hubpages.com/hub/Australia-The-B … mily-Story
http://hubpages.com/_gamergirl/hub/How- … ed-My-Life
This one. It's one of those baring your soul type things that I think can reach people who go through situations like this all the time.
Wow, thats very brave, honest writing of a caliber i have rarely seen on here. everybody can identify with aspects of your story and it could be very helpful to the right person at the right time.
-im glad i made this post! Its good to hear your path has worked out so well.
mine is this one
http://hubpages.com/hub/What-Weird-Chri … e-received
absolutely hilarious!
very special with no strings attached. --i thought this was funny but then i keep reading and "smaller condoms" i didnt even know they made those -
Im going to buy tons of em as my main stocking stuffer.
is that a dirty joke?
This hub has been my best.
http://hubpages.com/_2ecigsmcq9jbj/hub/Suddenly-Alone
Good call dude. I just read Benson's and it's great. Gonna go read Gamer's, Lgali's and Trish's now too.
I think if I was gonna pimp one of mine, I'd say my Bee Hub is one that I really liked and it just didn't get read. I giggle at the pictures even though I did them myself, which I know is bad, you're not supposed to laugh at your own jokes, but, well. Ok, maybe it's just me, but bees walking around with their guts pulled out their butts is funny. /sigh Maybe I just need therapy.
"
Now, I know what you're probably thinking right now; you're thinking to yourself, "I notice this author is just assuming that the Bee God is a ‘he.'" Well, to that I have only one response: Who else would create a society wherein it was almost entirely women, the women do all the work, and the role of men is simply to mate as often as they can with the most prestigious woman of the bunch?
Yeah, that's what I thought. Don't ever question me again!"
Thank you for adding this, i dont know if i would have ever found it otherwise.
Shades is a master and he creates his own images!
This is my favorite:

I love the blues and this is a classic blues song! It embodies the themes of love, deception and hurt!
"This is a mean old world,
Baby to live in by yourself.
This is a mean old world,
Baby to live in by yourself.
Cant get the woman you love,
Cause you know shes lovin someone else."
im a T-bone fan myself- i liked your lyrics any chance of ever hearing them?
This is my first story attempt, would like to have some more feedback:

Mine is my best American Recipes
Almost certainly a financial failure, but a labor of love
And there is nothing wrong with laughing at your own jokes ,Shadesbreath. Just remember, when you hear others doing so, they are not laughing at you, they are laughing with you
I do not, by any means, consider myself prolific, but here's mine anyway:
http://hubpages.com/hub/mychildmydog
Very enjoyable read, I recently gave in to getting a rescue dog in an effort to stave off my fiances biological clock (it worked for the first two months).
<img src="http://a116.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/81/l_3c5316523d595b5ce7db61bb2813c033.jpg> Dont know if html works
My favorite pet is still my house rabbit though
It looks like you've got quite the menagerie! Tell me, are rabbits a lot of work?
We found a nest of 4 wild baby bunnies a couple of springs back - actually, my husband weedwhacked down a flower bed and found their nest. It left them completely exposed, and I couldn't bear the thought of them being picked off before their mom returned to them. So, foolishly, I loaded them into a cat carrier and took them inside. They were too little to eat solids, at first, so I went and bought kitten formula and a dropper to feed them with. Within a couple of weeks they were eating solids, were chubby, and seemed quite healthy. Then one morning when I went downstairs to feed them, two were cold and stiff. I bawled all the way to the nearby nature center where I let the other two go. It was very traumatic - I'm such a sucker.
We've got a pair of cats in addition to the dogs. Jack, our male Vizsla, just got home last night from having spent the last several months with his trainer, so our little family has been fully reunited.
My house rabbit is very little work at all, rabbits are naturally very clean and come litter trained, they will eat every electrical cord in your house though, so rabbit proofing is necessary. "Pigglefoot" has lived with me for 4 years, she comes when called (sometimes, like a cat) she dances when happy (really!) she can open doors and can jump on the bed, she will attack full grown dogs because she is territorial, but leaves my little peke/cocker mix alone (because hes little!) she also stomps like thumper during thunder storms, I plan on writing lots about my house rabbit and rabbit keeping in the future.
My rabbits are never caged and I really dont suggest getting one if that is your plan, they love and need to run around - less work and damage and smell than the average cat -similar temperament
Im sorry to hear about your kit experience, I have also had to raise a bunch by hand using a dropper and milk, for no apparent reason 2 out of the 7 died, most likely from weakened immune systems since they never had mothers milk, it was rough. But its sounds like things would have been worse off for them without your intervention as they are very susceptible to the elements and predators when little
It sounds like you did everything right, they have big litters because they are so fragile
I look forward to reading this!
Really!? I love my cats but, really, they're a pain in the ass. Actually, it's just the litterbox that I can't stand. I find myself cleaning it two or three times a day just because it grosses me out so much. My cats are in and out of my bed all the time, and it freaks me out to crawl into bed and find litter in the sheets.
I did a lot of reading on the 'Net about the bunnies because I was so worried about them. My husband thought it was funny that I got so worked up about some little wild animals... I had to put their cage up on a high shelf where the dogs and cats couldn't get to it, and I insisted on taking them outside to play in the grass every day. I did read that they were very fragile and that most that were handraised did not survive, but I was still heartbroken to lose the two.
You have to do it like this:
Quote me and you will see what I did
I wish the men would read :" Warning signs of testicular cancer " as not enough have read it.

Here's one of mine with miserable stats.
It relates to my ever-failing quest to free women from the tyranny of purses. It will never happen, and I guess I effectively excluded most male readers from the get go.
Some of the comments were good...
http://hubpages.com/hub/Purposely-Purseless-and-Proud
Many of us males would like our companions freed from the tyranny of the purse too, as we become responsible and embarrassingly forced to protect in public places too!
I absolutely loved this hub. I commented and linked it to http://hubpages.com/hub/How-to-keep-you … -the-time. It fit right in, I thought. Thanks for sharing that one.
Thank you for the link. That one has been lonely for a long time.
This is possibly my favorite of mine because of the memories that go with it. It's a recipe with an added touch.
http://hubpages.com/hub/Chicken-Paprika … age-Recipe
I've got a few favorites, but one that I very much enjoyed writing that hasn't scored all that well and hasn't gotten all that many views is one I did on my favorite movie of all time (with the exception of all five dozen Bing Crosby movies.) The movie in question is "Gunga Din," and the hub is titled "Realism in Movies: Oxymoron."
http://hubpages.com/hub/Realism-in-Movies-Oxymoron
I have to rush off to a VFW meeting, but I'm looking forward to reading the hubs mentioned above.
This is a great idea, Josh. I have just read the first (really beautiful, Gamer girl. I'm moved) and will read all that are listed here later this evening. I suspect by then there will be quite a reading list!
Josh: Don't forget to list your own!
I agree - great idea, and I'm enjoying finding the treasures published before I started following some of my favorite hubbers.
Not that I'm prolific either, but my favorite and seldom viewed is about my grandparents:
http://hubpages.com/hub/Fishing-Lessons … -of-DauDau
This one I just wrote and I love it! http://hubpages.com/hub/LoveLove
But my favorite one is this:
http://hubpages.com/hub/Why-do-I-write- … lment-only
This is a great idea to list our favorite hubs. I was really moved to tears reading gamergirl's hub. My favorite hub would be my recent unexpected trip to california with lots of wonderful memories. http://hubpages.com/hub/My-California-Trip
Although it was one of the first ones I wrote, I like http://hubpages.com/hub/Feminine-Hygien … -Traveling. I just looked at it again, and revised it a little. Didn't quite know what I was doing with the ad capsules the first time.
I also like http://hubpages.com/hub/Confessions-of-a-Mad-Gardener. All the pictures in that one are ones I took.
I can't say I have one favorite hub. I have a few that I really like and that were labors of love that I knew up front would never make me any money *g*
Probably tops on that list are my Post-Apocalyptic Movies, Books and TV Shows hubs.
Movies - http://hubpages.com/hub/Post-Apocalyptic-Movie
Books - http://hubpages.com/hub/Welcome-to-the-Apocalypse
TV - http://hubpages.com/hub/Post-Apocalypti … -TV-Series
The tv series hub got so long that I had to break it up because originally I was going to cover movies in that hub too.
I would find it hard to just pick one of them as a favorite as it is my beloved genre and I'm heavily into it in just about any format.
None of my hubs are intended to make money, and in that regard, they don't disappoint. My favorite, is my first. http://hubpages.com/hub/The-joy-of-butter-tarts AKA "How The Jackalope Got His Evilpants".
Tasty Recipe was what i liked most
Recipe of Mushroom Curry,Potato Soup,Vegetable Biriyani
and my Technology Hub answering Maddies request was
Best T Mobile G1 / Google Android Phone Reviews
My favorite hub that I wrote is the Sexy Hot Hubbers hub. I had so much fun doing it, it was more work than any other hub I've done, and it's not a top earner by any means, but I got to know alot of the Hubbers better here, and it was SO much fun!!!
http://hubpages.com/_HubLink/hub/Hot-Hu … y-Pictures
( and the sexy dog and sexy cat hubs too- those were also fun......lol....)
This one was an answer to a Hub Mob request, but it didn't get the attention I expected it to. I think it's pretty amusing.
Train Your Cat! --But be Careful What You Wish For.
mine is http://hubpages.com/hub/miscellaneous
That's my very first hub after not writing for God knows how long
This was another one of my favorites.
http://hubpages.com/_2ecigsmcq9jbj/hub/ … Alone-When
Oops!
I meant to post this one.
http://hubpages.com/_2ecigsmcq9jbj/hub/ … es-Forever
What a hard question, and thought provoking. Having gone back and looked at all the hubs I have written there are a few that I thought were my better ones that didn't get the viewings I had hoped for. They are:
http://hubpages.com/hub/Embarrassing-Pr … -in-Public
http://hubpages.com/hub/Why-does-Pubic- … Everywhere
and
http://hubpages.com/hub/The-Hilarious-l … -Chapter-2
Good idea for a forum topic by the way.
Just was looking over my hub list again, and found another one of my favorites that hardly anyone knows about. http://hubpages.com/hub/Reusing-Bags--O … Experience
(bump)
I enjoyed the responses this brought a couple of months ago...so rather than start the thread again-figured I would resurrect this one
This one was fun to write, but probably not a money-maker.
http://hubpages.com/hub/Remembering-Tug … -Drugstore
thanks for sharing... i thought it was a fun read...im surprised its not a moneymaker...as it has ads for drug stores and credit reports - but i guess your problem is its actually worth reading so people wont be interested in clicking out via the ads
We are suppose to create are own Hubs??? Oh...poop. Is that a rule or something? lol.
I would post my favorite but no one would read it anyways
That isn't true...oops sorry Toad you can't post any of MY Hubs...they have to be your own, so I guess you may be correct.
Do you got any more meth to make me feel better, now that you kicked me down?
Sorry about that "buddy"...And uhhh no meth today...nope none here. All i have is this sticky, skunky, home grown pain killer. I worry about your asthma so keep back while I smoke.
if its the sticky icky, it won't bother me, so uh, hurry up and puff puff pass.
man, I'm still waitin' for Pest to pass it.
oh you should have held it for him, he'll effing eat it!
now that everyone has left my office, I got a pair of pliers, I'll take that roach now
Oh guess what? I found a cig in my backpocket. guess I'll have to pass this round. i'll wait up for the next.
y'all not done yet?. hurry and i;m starting to hear it "...lived by the sea, and frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called....
uh Cris, sorry but there really wasn't much to that roach, bad stuff anyway, made me choke
i don't believe a word, toady. if it was as bad as you said it was.. you would have let me try
I was doing you a favor Cris, trust me, did you really think Pest gets the good stuff? Uhm, what was I saying?
See you're in nirvana now while i sit around the bonfire with Peter Paul and effing Mary! that's great ma friend, you'll forever be in my heart. selfish toad.
Blame Pest, he took most of the joint and left me to the roach, maybe he has a pinch left
if all you have left is powdered dried saliva i guess i'm outta here then. some good friends the two of you! hmf!
Gosh darn you guys! Bogarting stuff like that.
*pout* I'm going to bed. *stomping feet and giving a curt hair flip as I turn to storm out*
Oh well, I have penis kiegels to do anyway...anyone have a sock full of rice?
LOL! Toad's wife keeps his penis at home on the dresser where she can keep an eye on it!
now that's not a very nice thing to say...squealing a good man's secret like that. bad pest. you overdid it this time. (whispers: how did you know?)
I happen to have one left over from my cousin Myrtle's wedding. It's tradition for us to fill our old socks with rice then go at the newlyweds like they're pinatas (spell freaking check please!). You know...flog em upside the head as the walk out of the church.
This one is only popular for a brief time each year, but during that small window, it's my king Hub and I love it:
http://hubpages.com/hub/DIY_Vampire_Makeup
Hey, Toad. Did you respond to Bean Head yet? He sounds like his feelings are hurt.
I forgot about him, I guess I'll have to go look.
I don't know. It's kind of sweet that it's still at zero.
I think that's the funny part too. How about we become his fan and then let him get all excited and then we take it back?
sorry i won't as it betrays my fanning principle. no i'm not grouchy, why should i? being left in the cold is fine by me any day. besides the smoke FROM the bonfire is intoxicating. An i'm having a good time. I just found out that Mary, Peter and Paul's singing friend, is a Joseph!
oh no, I saw G-Ma became a fan too! I have to warn her of the plan
I came to post my favorite hub...am I interrupting? Oh well, I don't have much time...I am on the kid's computer. I will have to come back later and read all of this!
I don't really think of myself as prolific...but I hope to be one day! My favorite hub I've written is:
http://hubpages.com/hub/Can-You-See-a-Stanger
Thanks for letting me interrupt!
k@ri
I haven't decided if I'm going to or not. It would really hurt him to be left alone forever. Still...I wouldn't mind seeing what you have to say...it's so entertaining.
I just walked into the middle of a disquisition on smokin weed, though
and I don't even know what disquisition means
so, I was reading the thread and I couldn't get it. because the candy boys, pest, toadie, cris a and christoph reilly is pestering the favorite hub supposedly. L.O.L
I have two favourites, because they are completely different and I can't choose between them!
http://hubpages.com/hub/The-sinking-of- … vors-story
http://hubpages.com/hub/Feminism---the-plus-side
I've read all those linked to in this thread, and I'm very glad I did - an absolutely wonderful collection.
I guess I'll have to go back a few pages to find them -- thanks for the tip, though. And I like your choices of your own, too.
don't interrupt us we're still staring at Salma
okay, I'm off to lunch/dinner, be back in a bit, don't get into any trouble, its looks like Pest is content for awhile, you should be safe, doh! I guess I was wrong!
Dammit! TOAD!!!!!! COME BACK!!!! YOU HAVE MAIL!!!!!!
you won't make him, probably saw flies or mosquitoes flying about his hellhole
I just about killed over. I cannot breathe at all. I am crying that was so funny. I gotta go now!!
now you know the legend behind the name PEST! or shall i say curse?
Now well lookit what came rolling off the mountain! Now it's just you and me Pest...so...have you some left? Don;t lie to me or I;ll make you weep Rich!
i'm on to it! Damn this buffering! it'd better be good or else...
Pest my hats off to you that is the bomb! Now let's go look for Eric and I'm totally ditching toady for him - he's a bum therefore way coooler! whaddayasay! i have me a sprinkler and it's pink too with Hello Kitty design, cool huh?
the gardener, the salviater, or salviatist whatever. sheesh
Ohhhhh yeah, right...I think some of his high rubbed off on me! That dude lost all his sense!
I wish I could smoke some shit like that! He just started mumbling!
There is a part two...I dont think i have seen it yet
Thanks Pest, i'm downloading so i can put it in my iPod.
I had to shut my office door, I was laughing so hard
I have seen people trip out but that was too much! I am glad I didn't watch that when I was high, I might not have survived
make sure that the hole is big enough for your plant said Richard Dreyfuss :d
i was laughing at his fingers, twitching as if saying bring me back to life! i want to get stoned like that
I don't have a favorite...
but here this one won the toss of the coin!
http://hubpages.com/hub/Musings-From-Lot-47--Contd
TOAD! you have mail.
I think so...i don't think there is much going back now.

Heres the thought:If you have been writing on HubPages for a while Im sure you have a few favorite hubs of your own that just havent got the traffic you wanted, the score is never high enough, the comments poor or lacking. You think why isnt this hub more popular, its great!Well, put a link up here...

Okay hubbers. I read and read and then I read some more to pick hubs for my blog. Some of you know about the blog I have built for Hubbers. I read a blog, do a quick review on it and then post the Hub to it.Well now I am looking for a different perspective. I am looking for...

Post them in here. Please don't post them in other threads, or start multiple threads for individual hubs, as it will quickly fill up the sub-forum and make it harder for people to offer advice when help is being sort. So, post links in this thread. Nowhere else. Thanks!

I thought this would be fun. I am going to use this to post some of my fav's profile links here, there's soooooo many, but right of bat, you don't know nuthin' if you don't...
