Why do people put on a robe over pajamas when getting up for a drink of water etc.
in the movies, people put on a robe, when getting up,even if he/she has on a buttoned up pair of pajamas and they are the only one in the house.
People do lots of things in films that they never do in real life, like wear full make up to bed.

Does going to bed & getting up 2-3 hours earlier make a difference if you still get the same...amount of sleep? In other words does an early start benefit you more, if you still only had a few hours sleep?
