    Do you identify as feminist?

Why do you or don't you identify as a feminist?

Good question. I am FEMININE, and loathe the term "feminist" as it has been routinely used to denote a political and sociological agenda that really has nothing to do with my gender or natural attributes as a female. I am proudly feminine, I am strongly feminine; and I don't need or want anyone's agenda trying to dictate my views about society or myself.

The definition of 'feminism' is: "the advocacy of women's rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men." So yes, I 100% identify with that definition. At its core, it's just someone who believes that men and women are equals. I would say that most people (men and women) are feminists when you take it for its simple definition. Emma Watson's speech on feminism was absolutely perfect, I'm sure most of us have seen it by now. She talks about how "feminism" became a bad word at some point and how it doesn't have to be.

Excellent answer, I couldn't agree more.
