How important is feminism in the 21st century, and do you believe a male can be a feminist?
Feminism is always important and yes of course men can (and should be) feminists.
A feminist is someone who believes that women should have equal rights because men and women are equal.
That's it, that's all.
Oh course there are feminist males. That's like saying whites can't join the BLM protest. .....
In much of the developing world, women still need basic human rights. We need to end female genital mutilation, forced marriages, forced veiling, giving rapists the right to marry the rape victim, retrograde views on female sexuality that cause many to pull girls out of school when their period starts. For these billions of women and girls, they need first wave feminism - and men can support this.
The fourth wave feminism that says men are toxic and evil, no one needs, and that is why many women in the developing world refuse to call themselves feminists.
Why Don't Feminists Fight for Muslim Women?
Feminism is nothing more than a movement which espouses women should be treated equally to men.
Any man who believes this to be true is technically a feminist.
There will always be a need for people to stand up to others who have an intention to run over or discriminate based upon gender.
The same holds from for nationality, race, religion, or sexual orientation. Equality is the goal of most people in our society.
