    Did Romeo and Juliet make mistake in their choice of action by choosing to die for love?

    The love story of Romeo and Juliet is said to be the greatest love story so far but was their action justified? Do you think lover can still repeat what Romeo and Juliet did.

    Juliet was a 13 year old girl and Romeo is assumed to be 15!
    Does anyone really believe these (kids) had the wisdom and maturity required to determine that their lives would not be worth living without one another?
    During my Jr. high school years a 13 year old girl attempted suicide because her 14 year old boyfriend dumped her to date the "new girl" in school. No one thought her attempt to die for love was romantic.
    In her mind if she could not be with (him) life was not worth living!
    I've often wondered if she ever looked back after graduating from high school, going on to college, getting married and having children of her own  what advice would she give her teenage heartbroken daughter? Is there anything at age 13 worth dying for?
    The problem with teenage immature love is all that matters to them is NOW. They lack the foresight to imagine themselves in 5, 10, or 20 years into the future. At age 13 I could not imagine myself driving a car and graduating from high school in less than five years.
    No 13 year old girl should think her life is not worth living because of boyfriend relationship issues and no 14 year old boy should be responsible for the welfare of anyone's state of mind and well being.
    Having said that I don't believe the Romeo and Juliet story ever dies. Teenagers every day swear they've met their "soul-mate".
    Most of us however experience our first heartbreak and move on gaining wisdom and life experience. In hindsight we realize she/he wasn't all that great! We can't believe we behaved as we did.
