What is your definition of rape?

Rape is classified differently between a variety of the states in the USA.  I want to hear what your idea of rape would constitute.

Rape is  sexual penetration without consent, carried out by force or coercion.

    Sex without consent is rape.
Having said that there are various lines people draw.
Some would debate whether it's rape or not if two college kids drink and smoke pot in a dorm room, while listening to music, begin kissing, and have sex.  Even though (both) the male and female were "high" some would say the male took advantage of her.
Not long ago a woman in California was advocating that even if a woman consents to having sex after drinking or being persuasively talked into it after initially saying no it should be classified as rape.
Based upon her definition "seduction" could be considered rape.
In the business world overcoming objections is part of the sales process. Courts would be open 24/7 if people sued over every purchase they made and later had buyers remorse.
I think it's a slippery slope when we start to say candlelight dinner, wine, music, dancing, kissing/petting, and smooth talking that leads to consent is rape. Very rare does any man have "spontaneous sex"
Most guys while on a date are going over possible scenarios in their minds for getting a woman to come home with them, what to say, or how to initiate sexual interest. They stock their apartment with alcohol, have breakfast food available, condoms in their wallet or in dresser drawer. They (plan and hope) for sex. LOL!
Seduction is far from rape. (Even if one regrets it the next day!)

.The comments you've received are excellent definitions. But if you're in a hurry and want to simplify, the definition of rape is "BILL COSBY."
