How long would you wait before dating again after the death of your significant other?
How long? I think that entirely depends on the person. There can be no rule or normal in this because each person deals with grief and moving on in their own way. My spouse passed away in 2012 and I am not dating yet. I gave it a try a while ago to make my family and friends back off but my heart wasn't in it and I wasn't ready. I'll know I'm ready when it happens...
Life is a (personal) journey.
Only the individual can decide when they are ready to date again.
