Haha I'm sure lots of people would be tempted to simply respond with "baby don't hurt me."
I could tell you that Bible quote we've all heard, you know, "love is patient, love is kind...." It's a good quote, but here's something more personal: I think love is simply putting someone ahead of yourself. It could be platonic, like simply loving a stranger enough to offer them your seat on the bus. It could be familial. It could be romantic. But to me, it all boils down to the elevation of others above self.
