    Life is a (personal) journey.
    Only YOU as an individual can define what happiness is for you. Recognizing when you have what you wanted is the key.
    It's important to understand all emotions are (moments in time). We're always one phone call or experience away from getting news that changes our mood. We must learn to ride the waves.
    No one experiences rainbows & sunshine everyday.
    Life is temporary therefore so are good & bad times.

    Happiness for me is the little things in life, like when my mom smiles, my dad's hugs, my fiancee holds my hand and tells me everything is going to be fine, my dogs jumping on me and licking me when I come home from work, my cup of coffee. These things are what makes me happy.
    But we should not look for happiness outside, we should  should be happy from within and all these other things just adds to your joy.
    I also feel material things can never bring any joy only people who genuinely love you can give you real joy. One more thing that can make you happy is to help people if it's in your capacity to do so, it can bring immense pleasure.
