    Why do people always make fun of two guys who are best friends by calling them gay?

      You don;t see the problem with making fun of close friendship between men and using "gay" as an insult?  Or you just don't see dumbasses who do these things as problems?

        I don't see being gay as an insult. But if those dumbasses are trying to insult someone, yeah that's a problem, but I don't see how it's an insult.

    I don't know where you live but in my 43 years I've had "best friends" that I spent tons of time with and hung around with constantly and never had anyone call us gay in public. I can recall other friends jokingly call us "gay" but see no harm in that. No more than a friend calling me an @ jokingly. I'm sorry you live somewhere where strangers make fun of strangers on a regular basis.
