I was always one to think I had a very open mind in this regard. However, now that I am receptive to dating again, I'm realizing that I'm a little intimidated by the age dynamics involved in the women I'm attracting and am attracted to.
Why not, if you think you like them and it may have a positive outcome.
I guess I'm just self-conscious about some silly things, like meeting my next girlfriend's mom and realizing she was the girl I dated in 11th grade. Stuff like that.
That's always been my problem. How do you curb you thinking when you're thinking too much?
Seriously, if you have a problem of over-thinking a situation, try to find a distraction. Do something different, take a walk, watch a child or a bird, anything - sometimes by observing something totally off topic, it shows us something about our situation.
I know this sounds very trite, but human life is short and to be lived fully. Enjoy your attraction, it could be fun and rewarding.
off to work for me..
