MY EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE-PART 1

Updated on August 17, 2010

INTRODUCTION

Fellow hubbers I want to impart to my total educational experience. I am not referring to the period from going to 1st Grade through West Virginia University, but rather I’m disclosing my real world common sense education on how to get along, and work with people in all my endeavors. Formal education gives us knowledge, and that is potentially useful, but without wisdom of how to use, and communicate that knowledge it ain’t worth spit.

WHAT IS WISDOM

In my opinion wisdom is the tool we need to use our knowledge in each and every endeavor we ever partake upon the earth. We must be wise and that means kind, and understanding of the feelings of others. We can accomplish a great deal with help of others, but we are severely limited by ourselves alone. We must show respect for others, or they will just ignore us, and who could blame them. All our knowledge then would be wasted. As Jesus said, ”Do unto others…………”!!!! Now that is wisdom personified!!!!!!!!!

EDUCATION TAKES A LIFTIME

My own educational experience began with my immediate family long before I can remember. My mother, father, brother, and sister were educating me from the day I was born. They were constantly teaching me right from wrong and how to treat, and interact with others. These early experiences are worth more that any university education. Without the ability to work, and interact with other people you are doomed to failure in any, and all endeavors in your life.

As my life progressed, and I obtained more formal education I realized just how important my early educational experiences had been. The more knowledge I obtained the more I realized how much I didn’t know. I obtained my university degree but I was just beginning to learn what I needed to know to survive in this world.

EDUCATION IN WISDOM

Once you realize that you cannot accomplish anything in this life without the help of others then you have taken the first crucial step into wisdom. This is a life long endeavor. The more you learn the more you need to realize that there is still much to learn. Every time in my life I thought I knew it all God stepped in and taught me better. True wisdom is only obtained through God in heaven, and without true wisdom all your knowledge is useless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

REAL LIFE EXAMPLES

In future hubs I will present true-life examples of what I consider the differences between wisdom and knowledge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
