Paul unfolds the spiritual depths in Romans 8
Romans 8 - part 3
.The good mentioned in verse 28 is not our comfort, wealth, or health. It is conformity to Christ-unto the fullness of Christ.
.All that happens to us may not be good; but God works in our life and turns everything for our goodness. This is the providential care of God.
.It is the Eternal purpose of God to bring a group of people into the perfect image of Our Lord Jesus Christ and He should be the first born Son among many brethren. The term many brethren refers to those who would be perfected, transformed completely into full measure of stature of Christ.
.God has saved us according to His Eternal purpose and His grace
.No one is ever saved by God accidentally; but according to His Election which he has completed even before the foundations of the world.
.God is in control of every small and big matters of our life even though things may go out of our control.
.As God’s Election and predestination are based on his sovereign will they can never be altered by any factor.
.Election makes all differences in our life. No one can qualify him self to be elected by God; but God qualifies his elect ones for His purpose.
.God is calling His chosen ones; although his calling appears to be common, indeed, it is specific.
.God does not call anyone for selection. But he calls those who have been already chosen
.God justifies everyone who is being called by Him : the chosen ones respond His call by grace and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ
.God takes his called ones into the process of glorification.
.God is conforming His chosen ones into the likeness of Christ progressively.
.From predestination to perfection into likeness of Christ, a group has been going through this chain process and no one is missed on the way.
.The term “many brethren” confirms that all the chosen ones from the Adamic race will eternally have the brotherly relationship with one another and with Christ Jesus.
.As God is in defense of His chosen ones and progressing His Eternal plan in their lives; no one can stand against them. Those who touch them ,indeed, touch the apple of His eye
.If God is with us who can be against us? God alone is sufficient to defend his chosen ones .He is our shield and the rock of our salvation
.God has sacrificed his only begotten Son not only to offer us salvation but also to make him as the first born Son.
.As God did not procrastinate to sacrifice his son, He does not, most assuredly, withhold anything from us.
20. God gives everything freely to us on the basis of His atonement that he has made through His Son.
