knowing something tis knowledge, apply knowledge correctly is wisdom....i guess
http://hotneews2010.blogspot.com/
Knowledge is just to know of something and wisdom is to know of it and all it attributes & an depth study. To cross reference it and tare it apart. This is how you get revelation/wisdom in the word of God too. The word becomes alive when you seek revelation/wisdom, it all starts connecting and linking up to the wisdom already gained on & on. Go after wisdom and get the real meaning, you will find your reason for existence.
Proverbs 2:6-11 (New Living Translation)
6 For the Lord grants wisdom!
From his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
7 He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest.
He is a shield to those who walk with integrity.
8 He guards the paths of the just
and protects those who are faithful to him.
9 Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair,
and you will find the right way to go.
10 For wisdom will enter your heart,
and knowledge will fill you with joy.
11 Wise choices will watch over you.
Understanding will keep you safe.
I think wisdom comes from your own personal experiences and what you learn from them.
You gain knowledge from these experiences too, but wisdom comes from knowing what to do with that knowledge. Knowledge alone doesn't necessarily make you wise.
wisdom is the ability to put knowledge to use to help yourself or help others.
Knowledge is the collective of everything learned and experience gained. Wisdom is the discernment of truth of that knowledge.

This quote is philosophical. In my personal experience, acquiring knowledge was not just handed over, it was a goal to be worked towards by way of learning life's lessons, reasoning out what's right and last but not least personal experience (what life has taught me). Feel free to express your own...
