    Amazing Grace

This month is Black History month, and I have been focusing on grace, amazing grace.  Amazing grace is miraculous; we know that the greatest miracle is not a financial blessing, not even the healing of a person body.  But true amazing grace is the salvation of a soul.   There is much that the Bible has to say about grace, because there is so much sin in the world that God has, through His Word, informed mankind that there is a way of escape from the penalty of sin and it is through His grace.

The only way a man or woman can be rescue from sin is by the grace of God.  People are constantly sinning and rebelling against God, yet God is ready and willing to forgive them, this is amazing grace.  All we have to do is repent or apologize to God for what we have done wrong, feel sorry, or be remorseful, and in a blink of an eye God amazing grace will come in and set us free from our wrongs and make us right.  God in His grace is ready to forgive.

    Romans 5:20 KJV
    20.  Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

    Romans 4:20 The Book
    20. The Ten Commandments were given so that all could see the extent of their failure to obey God’s laws. But the more we see our sinfulness. The more we see God’s abounding grace forgiving us.

People have never been saved by obeying the law. The only way to be saved, or to have ones sins forgiven is not of good works, but by Gods grace.

    Romans 11:6 KJV
    6.  And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

    Romans 11:6 The Book
    6. And if is by God’s kindness, then it is not by their being good enough. For in that case the gift of free would no longer be free—it isn’t free when it is earned.

God choose us because of His sovereign grace alone, not because of our good works.

    Ephesians 1:6-5 KJV
    5.  Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
    6.  To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

We can never be good enough, but we don’t have to be God’s amazing grace will lift us up and make us righteous in His eyes. Then we will be able to see. Now that’s amazing.

How does the saying go...if not for the grace of God, there go I. Praise God for His grace...He didn't give up on me and I am so very thankful to HIM for that or God only knows what  I would be like. There is a scripture that says...Godly repentance brings about sorrow. This is what happens to a true repentant heart when broken before God and in total surrender. It's a good thing we are saved by grace and that it is a gift from God or we would all for sure be lost and without an ending of eternal life.Praise God for the blood that His son Jesus shed on that cross for us to be saved.
