Did they live In the Arctic, in the Central Asian Steppes, in the Indian-sub-Continent or elsewhere in the world? Please
Please quote from Veda to support your viewpoint.

Conventional history states the roots of Vedic culture started in the very ancient Indus Valley Civilisation which spread into Northern India about 3,000 BC.
The Vedas represent infinitely ancient knowledge or Truth embedded in the sentience of the universe itself (or God consciousness).
It can be argued the Vedas pre date all Civilisation as eternal knowledge.
The Indus Valley Civilisation is very interesting. It goes back possibly to the very dawn of human history.
Please quote from Veda, for inner evidence of Veda, to support one's viewpoint.
Veda/Yajurveda has many a verses and chapters that tell us that the Veda people were warriors who fought with many tribes/people. Please

This is a discussion so no one really gets to dictate the "rules of a discussion" other than HP.
Also aren't the Vedas in Sanskrit?
I am not dictating anything.
My humble view is that only inner evidence from Veda will decide where the Veda people lived. Flora and Fauna and events in the chapters/verses of Veda must certify whatever is the answer. it and should not be against it. Veda is knowledge so let us see what knowledge it provides in this issue. Please
For example there is one view that Veda people's ancient home was the Arctic. Yet there is no frequent mention of snow, ice in the Veda. That makes the claim a weird one. Right? Please
Got it? Please
Regards
Why don't you tell us what you think, and we can go from there.
I don't know where the Veda people lived to start with. But where-ever the lived it should be supported by the chapters/verses of the Veda.
We find in Yajurveda and Rigveda that the Veda people were in constant fight with the people around them. We should know who were their enemies and where they lived. Right? Please
Regards
